The NSW Men's and Women's Teams are both in sight of a place in the 2019 Australian Interstate Teams Finals after a wonderful second day of competition in Hobart.
After recording an emphatic win over arch-rivals Queensland in the morning session, the NSW Women put hosts Tasmania to the sword with a five-nil rout at Royal Hobart Golf Club.
Doey Choi, who is playing irresistible golf, sealed the point for the blues with another impressive win, this time 3&2 over Sarah Johnstone.
It's four wins from four starts for the NSW Captain, and she looks ominous form heading into the final day.
Earlier, Grace Kim continued her resurgence, this time with a 7&5 win over Mackenzie Wilson. Kim is a decidedly happier golfer than the one who struggled with the freezing conditions on day one, and her opponents are paying the price.
Stephanie Kyriacou was as solid as ever, and never relinquished the lead against her opponent Hollie Maeburn; while Kelsey Bennet bounced back from her first loss at interstate level this morning with a resounding 4&3 win over Lily Caelli.
Surprise of the day was the come-from-behind win of Sophie Yip. One down with two to play, Yip conjured up some magic taking her 17th hole with a conceded birdie and the 18th with another.
"It was awesome ball striking, and lots of putts dropped from all of them," Team Manager Tahnia Ravnjak said.
"Grace was 13 under bogey- free, and Doey was seven or eight under. Steph didn't make a bogey either.
Ravnjak is acutely aware of what's required in big tournament golf. She was a three time-Big South Conference winner in her college days at Campbell University in South Carolina; twice as a team member, and once as a coach.
"It's a big day tomorrow."
"All the girls are hitting form when we need it. Hopefully, we will be looking forward to the final in the afternoon."

NSW Men make it Three from Three
Earlier in ther day, the NSW Men's team made short work of their opponents, South Australia, with a 5 1/2 to 1 1/2 rout at Tasmania Golf Club.
Lucas Higgins bagged his first win for the Blues with a 4&3 win, while Harrison Crowe and Jordie Garner scored 3 &2 and 3&1 wins respectively.
Josh Armstrong accounted for Jack Buchanan 5&3, while the NSW and Australian Amateur runner-up, Nathan Barbieri monstered Billy Cawthorne 8&7.
Blake WIndred took half from his match against Jack Thompson, while James Conran couldn't get going, eventually going down to Ben Layton, 3&2.
The team has their most important work in front of them, with tomorrow's match against the giant-killing hosts, Tasmania looming as a must-win game.
The Blues will then play defending champions Victoria in the afternoon in a match that could well decide who is in Friday's final.

AM Wrap: Women blow series wide open
The NSW Women's Team have delivered a message to their challengers for the Gladys Hay Trophy by rolling over table leaders Queensland this morning at Royal Hobart Golf Club.
The Blues highly-credentialled top of the order did the trick this morning with wins from Doey Choi (4&3) and Stephanie Kyriacou (5&4) that laid the foundations.
However, it was Grace Kim's win over Isabelle Taylor which brought the biggest smiles from the playing group, and no more so from a relieved Kim herself.
"It was a good match out there today, and I'm happy to come back from yesterday's downhill.
"I wasn't too focused about the score out there today, just getting it done.
"I had Peter Mitchell on the bag, and I made five birdies out there. It was a pretty cruisy day I reckon," she smiled post round.
Kim admitted the result was more than personal vindication for her. She is acutely aware every result matters in the team competition, and she was determined to do her bit.
"I was a bit frustrated in my heart, and I felt bad for the team because I know all matches count," Kim said.
"Determination? Yes, I am determined. Anything to make myself better. It all takes discipline. You need buckets of it, several buckets."
