Jill Blenkey has taken out the 2014-15 Women's NSW Senior Order of Merit finishing the season with 885 points (based on her best six results). This included wins at the Kooindah Waters Senior Ladies Open, Fern Bay Trophy and Women's Silver Cup. Consistency was the key for Blenkey as she also claimed four 2nd place finishes throughout the WSOOM season (including second at the Women's ACT Senior Amateur).
Blenkey capped off an outstanding 12 months of Golf by reaching the semi-finals of the match play section at the 2015 Women’s NSW Senior Championship. Whilst she would ultimately lose out to the eventual champion Jacqui Morgan, her achievement in securing the Order of Merit highlights not only her talent, but also her consistency.
Royal Canberra's Liz Smyth finished in second place with a total of 670 points from 5 events, including wins at the Cromer Senior Ladies Open, Long Reef Seniors and Avondale Bowl. Sylvia Donohoe (Narooma GC) finished third with 310 points, wiining the Womem's ACT Senior Amateur and placing 6th at the Women's NSW Senior Championship.
