Bleumink slips from top but in contention

CLICK HERE FOR THE PORTER CUP LEADERBOARD Victorian Luke Bleumink is still in contention but slipped to a share of 11th place following a second round 4-over par 74 at Niagara Falls Country Club. Bleumink, who lead the field after his opening round 6-under 64, endured a tough 10 shot swing to put him 2-under for the championship and six shots behind leaders Russell Henley and Harry Rudolph III. British Amateur champion and Melbourne resident Jin Jeong (KOR) is in a tie for 15th place after he shot an even par 70 to go with his opening round 1-under 69. National Squad member Bryden Macpherson is tied with AIS Squad member Jason Scrivener in 20th place after Macpherson shot a 2-under par 68 to move up 15 places on the leaderboard. Scrivener shot his second consecutive even par round. South Australian Jordan Sherratt (AIS Squad) is in 25th place following his 1-over par 71. Tarquin MacManus (QLD) and Ryan McCarthy (TAS) both shot rounds of 1-under par 69 to be in a tie for 38th. Victorian Kieran Pratt finished with a 1-over par 71 to be at 4-over for the championship (T48). Fellow Victorian Daniel Beckmann is a shot further back at 5-over par (T58) while WA&aposs Matt Jager endured a difficult second round with a 6-over par 76. The third round begins on Friday night (AEST).
