A strong NSW contingent gathered at Sydney's Kingsford Smith Terminal this morning bound for the Gold Coast and the 2019 Australian Junior Championship and Junior Interstate Teams Matches.
The 20-strong outfit will be led by Belinda Ji and Harrison Crowe, who were named as team Captains of the respective girls and boys squads before departure.
For Ji, it will be her fifth Australian Junior and fourth Girls' Team selection, while for Crowe, it will be his fourth #AusJnr and second year in the Boys' Team.
Ji will lead a girls team full of confidence after the recently completed Metropolitan Major Pennant, where four of the six girls featured in the finals.
Ji and her Concord teammate Sophie Yip were crucial players in Concord's defence of their Division One Women's Major Pennant Crown, while June Song and Kara Williams, despite being on the losing Avondale team, were impressive winners in the Division Two final. Rounding out the girl's side are the ever consistent Monica Johnson and Yerin Kim.

Eight development players will also compete at the Titles, including Eddie Ward, Fletcher Murray, Ali Rashid, and Jacob Dundas in the Boys' while Brielle Mapanao, Charlotte Perkins, Taylah Ellems and Ella Murray will compete in the Girl's Championship.
The Australian Boys' and Girls' Amateur Championship gets underway this Wednesday (10 April) at Southport & Coolangatta-Tweeds Heads Golf Clubs, while the Australian Boys' and Girls' Interstate Teams Matches will be held the following week at Sanctuary Cove Golf Resort and the City Golf Club, Toowoomba.
