Blyth in touch

Rick Gibson moved to the top of the Motorola International Bintan leaderboard at the end of the third round after carding a three-under-par 69 on Saturday. The Canadian, winner of the Asian Tour Order of Merit in 1991, shot six birdies and three bogeys to move one shot clear going into the final round. Korea&aposs Mo Joong-Kyung started the day in 31st but a faultless round that included six birdies saw him rise to second on the leaderboard with a nine-under-par 207. Adam Blyth teed off as the overnight leader but could only make par on Saturday to drop to second alongside Joong-Kyung. Fellow Australian Peter Fowler, meanwhile, fared a little better as he moved to third after carding a one-under-par 71. He is joined on eight under by Americans Clay Devers and Jason Knutzon, Park Jun-won, Unho Park and Mark Brown. After Blyth broke the course record with a 65 on Friday, Chinese Taipei&aposs Lu Wen-teh went one better as he carded an excellent eight-under 64 to shoot up the leaderboard to eight under overall. Elsewhere, England&aposs Yasin Ali is tied at 13th after carding a two-under 70 while Simon Hurd is back in 42nd place after he could only manage a one-under-par 71.
