Australian Amateur Stroke Play Champion Frances Bondad holds a two-stroke lead after the opening round of the 2007 WA Women&aposs Stroke Play at Lake Karrinyup. The 19-year old opened her tournament with a superb round of 70 to lead from a group of four players including local Whitney Hillier and Australian Amateur Champion Sunny Park. Queenslander Courtney Massey is also two behind Bondad while National Squad member Kate Combes had a 73. Australian Amateur runner-up Emma Bennett opened with a 74 while team mate and local hope Kristie Smith had a 75.
