Both still in the hunt

Australian Marcus Both is a shot off the pace after posting a three-under-par 68 at the Asian Tour International in Thailand. Following on from his blistering opening round of 63, Both was steady without being spectacular to finish the second round at minus 11, behind clubhouse leader Toni Karjalainen from Finland who fired a seven-under-par 64. “I probably didn&apost hole as many putts as I did yesterday and there&aposs still some work to do,” said Both. “I need to sharpen up some of the techniques which my coach and I have been working on and I think I should be okay after that.” Fellow Australian Michael Light is in equal eighth spot at minus seven after a four-under-par 67 to go alongside his opening round of 68. Darren Beck moved up the leaderboard with a second-round 66 and sits at minus four along with fellow Aussie Tim Stewart who has carded back-to-back 69s. Tony Carolan is a shot further back at minus three after a 68 along with compatriot Jason Norris (67).
