Bushnell Golf backs Vic Four-Ball

Golf Victoria is delighted to announce Bushnell Golf has signed on to support the Victorian Four-Ball Championship in 2018.

Victoria’s most participated-in golf tournament is set to grow even bigger with Bushnell Golf to generously provide its top of the range Laser Rangefinders as prizes to all winning teams teeing it up next year.

As well as punching their ticket to the 2018 State Final, the winning men’s, women’s and mixed pairs at all 22 qualifiers will each be awarded a Bushnell Golf Tour V4 Laser Rangefinder.

With their top of the range Bushnell Golf rangefinders by their sides, those lucky enough to proceed to the 2018 State Final on March 19-20 will have an easier time navigating Sorrento GC and The National.

Paul McLean, Bushnell Golf’s Asia-Pacific Business Manager, says Bushnell Golf is delighted to have the opportunity to support amateur golfers across the state.

“At Bushnell Golf we are world renowned among elite golfers, but even more important to us are the everyday club members and social players,” said McLean.

“They are the heartbeat of the golf industry and nowhere are they better represented than in events like the Victorian Four-Ball Championship.

“Any amateur than uses a Bushnell Golf product will tell you they save time and shots, both of which are critical factors in golf today.

“The Tour V4 is our number one selling rangefinder and has been since its release last year. It is the essence of what we believe in at Bushnell Golf – distance made simple.”

Greg Oakford, Golf Victoria’s Marketing & Communications Manager, says the partnership with Bushnell Golf is a great reward for all golfers who continue to support the Four-Ball Championship.

“We’re thrilled to have Bushnell Golf on board for the Victorian Four-Ball Championship next year and to be able to offer our winners premium prizes from a trusted golf brand,” said Oakford.

“Bushnell Golf has been a tremendously loyal partner of Golf Victoria and the Oates Vic Open over many years and we’re very pleased to have them as an official supporter of our most participated event on the GV calendar.

“Everyone teeing it up at each of the qualifiers will now have one eye on a brand new Tour V4 Laser Rangefinder and the other eye on a ticket to the State Final.

“We’d also like to recognise Mazda Victoria and Above Par Events for the past three years of support.”

Bushnell has been the industry leader in high-performance sports optics for decades and its laser rangefinders continue to be the undisputed #1 in golf.

The 2018 Victorian Four-Ball Championship will consist of 22 qualifying events across some of the state’s top metropolitan and regional clubs.

More than one thousand golfers from more than 200 golf clubs across Victoria will tee it up in the 2018 Victorian Four-Ball Championship.

Commonwealth GC, Kingston Heath GC, Woodlands GC and Southern GC are some of the metropolitan clubs opening their doors, while Rich River GC, Port Fairy GC and Ballarat GC are three of 12 clubs playing host to a regional qualifier.
