Bushnell Golf, the leading distance measuring brand in world golf, has struck a multi-year partnership with Golf Australia.

This deal makes Bushnell Golf the official partner in distance measuring at all levels of the amateur game throughout the country, with a primary focus on Golf Australia’s high performance programs. A range of products will be made available to high performance squads, both players and coaches, including rookie squad member and newly crowned Australian Open champion Cameron Davis.

Bushnell Golf’s Asia-Pacific business manager Paul McLean is excited the company will play a key role in ensuring emerging Australian players are at the cutting edge of technology.

“We’ve seen the wave of outstanding golf talent coming through Australia in recent years and, at Bushnell Golf, we are confident this will continue. Using Bushnell products means that our next generation will have every possible advantage in this part of the game,” McLean said.

“Bushnell has, for more than 25 years, been the undisputed No.1 rangefinder in professional golf around the world. But our strength is not just at the elite level; we have distance measuring devices that cater to everyone who enjoys playing the game – club golfers, social players, and elite amateurs.”

Golf Australia commercial director Kent Boorman said Bushnell Golf’s support was a welcome boost for the sport across the nation.

“It’s fantastic to have a world-leading brand see the value in a partnership with Golf Australia, and for all our players to have access to Bushnell’s superior products,” Boorman said.

“We look forward to working with Paul and his team across a range of activations and promotions. We want as many golfers as possible to see the advantages of using Bushnell Golf products – both in terms of saving time, but also saving shots on the scorecard.”

Bushnell will also take advantage of Golf Australia’s digital platform – www.golf.org.au– which provides a channel used by more than 30,000 golfers each day. GA’s primary digital asset, now among the country’s most visited platforms across any sport, features news, handicap look-up functionality and all the scores and course rating updates from clubs around Australia.
