Cameron John of Waverley Golf Club is in career best form as he prepares for the Oates Vic Open Championship. Cameron received an exemption into the Championship after winning the Victorian Junior Masters in a play off at Waverley Golf Club two weeks ago.
Yesterday he won the Fernlack Tamar Valley Junior Cup by 9 strokes from fellow Victorian Konrad Ciupek to win his second junior national ranked event on the trot. It’s some great golf from a 15 year who is looking forward to being selected in the Victorian Boy’s Team for the upcoming interstate series in April.
In other news from the Fernlack Tamar Valley Junior Cup Victoria Golf Clubs Anna Gavardinas scored an ace on the 117 metre 6th hole at Green Beach Golf Club yesterday.
