Ben Tucker (The Grange) has taken out the second SA Junior event of the 2013/14 summer, while fellow club member Cassidy Evreniadis was victorious in the girls event, claiming back to back wins this summer.
In sunny conditions with a slight breeze on both days, the first 18 holes was played at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club and the final 18 holes at The Grange Golf Club.
In the Boy’s Open, Tucker claimed the title after solid rounds of 72,73 for a 36 hole total of 145 (1 over the card) to win by one stroke ahead of the last weeks winner Liam Georgiadis 72, 74 (146).
Tucker and Georgiadis along with Travis Miller who finished 5th (4th in the previous event) as well as David Famer (2nd and 8th) head into the next event, the SA Junior Masters 8&9 January as the inform players.
In the nett event, Dylan Roser from Fleurieu playing off a 9 handicap took the honours with a score of 140 with nett rounds of 72, 68 ahead of Elliot Willgoose 143.
With rounds of 81,78 (159) Evreniadis claimed the girls event by 2 strokes ahead of Emma Sutton 81,80 (161).
Evreniadis who is in great form, will front against 12 interstaters and 8 locals in the SA Masters.
Isabella Cahill-Terrell from Kooyonga (HCap 25) claimed the nett event with net scores of 74, 78 (152).
