Barack Obama

President Barack Obama spends the majority of his spare time playing golf. He plays with ex-Presidents, sportspeople, Hollywood stars… whoever he wants to, really!

Niall Horan

The One Direction singer has teamed up with Rory McIlroy several times on the course and caddied for him during practice at The Masters.

"I apologise to golf," he said after McIlroy let him hit a shot and it took a terrible hook into the water on the ninth.

"I love golf, it’s a fantastic sport for all ages and I would urge young people to get out there and give it a go,” Horan recently said.

Shane Warne

Warne, who mixes golf with poker as his preferred sporting pastime, has described himself as a keen golfer who “doesn’t play anywhere near enough”.

“Sometimes I hit them OK, but I genuinely love the game and I love to get out and play as often as I can,” he said.

“Who knows, if all the work starts stopping and I get a few good years to practice and play a lot of golf, then who knows… I might be on the Senior Tour. That would be pretty cool.”

Jen loves to mix up her workouts with golf.

Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones is a keen golfer, playing at least twice a week at a golf course near her house in Bermuda. "I have a whole bunch of girlfriends who I play with. We have a girls' day which is always fun because it's like, 'Oh, we're not playing well. Let's go for lunch and have a glass of wine!'."

Kris Smith

Kris Smith plays golf as often as he can. The sports nut took up golf five years ago and is now off a handicap of nine. Golf, he admits, has become something of an obsession. He plays regularly in Melbourne with some pros who have clearly been offering him some excellent advice.

His goal is not to play a big tournament, but to whittle his handicap down to scratch.

Smith presented son Ethan with a set of plastic golf clubs last Christmas and beams with pride when talking about how his little bloke has already "played" his first round of nine holes.

"Yeah, he walked the whole way around with me whacking his little plastic ball," Smith says. "He loved it."

Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman is a normal kind of girl and golf fits perfectly with her lifestyle.

'I have a very quiet life there with my children and my husband and I love to go running, I love swimming. I love sport. I play golf," Kidman said.
