Stefan Albinski, the current Western Australian, Queensland and Tasmanian Senior Amateur champion will be looking to add his second Australian Senior Amateur title to his 2008 victory. The Richardsons are believed to be the only father-son combination to win USGA titles. Royal Canberra Golf Club last hosted the Australian Men’sSenior Amateur Championship 1987. The championship was last held in the ACT at Yowani Golf Club 1998. The first Australian Men’sSenior Amateur Championship was played in 1981, over 36- holes qualifying with the leading 32 players qualifying for elimination match play.
