Chinese duo Wen-chong Liang and Xin-jun Zhang are in a three-way tie for first spot with New Zealander Gareth Paddison at the halfway point of the China Masters in Nanshan. All three golfers are six under par overall after two rounds. Liang was the most impressive of the trio on Friday as he carded a scintillating eight-under second round of 64 – which included 10 birdies and an eagle at the 10th hole as well as four bogeys. Zhang registered a five-under 67 on day two while Paddison had to settle for a minus-three 69 to ensure he had a share of the lead as well. Two shots further back are their nearest rivals in Northern Irishman Darren Clarke and Indonesian Rory Hie who are both four under the card in a share of fourth spot. Next in line in equal sixth spot on three under are a trio of Australians Scott Strange, Terry Pilkadaris and Michael Wright.
