Claney in the lead at Cobram-Barooga

Round 2 – Tuesday 9 May

Under ideal conditions the Old course was the venue for Stroke play whilst the West course was for Stableford.

Gordon Claney (Kingston Heath) continued his good form to record a score of 70, 2 under par, with Ian Frost (Bendigo) having the next best scratch score of 74.

Round 1 – Monday 8 May

Day 1 of the 13’th annual Cobram Barooga Senior Open,  was played under ideal sunny conditions, on both the Old and West courses.

This year there are record numbers with 112 Men playing stroke, 75 Men, 78 Ladies playing stableford, with 71 clubs represented.

Leading stroke scores, on the West course, were Gordon Claney (Kingston Heath) 74, Kym Olsen (The National), Rob Wallace (Midlands) 76.
