Kicking off the the Crown Lager Social Golf Club summer schedule is Crown Lager Social Golf Club Ambassador and PGA TOUR player Stuart Appleby and past and present AFL players with events in Melbourne and Adelaide Victoria: Yarra Bend Crown Lager Social Golf Club Golf Day When: November 30, 2012 from 1:30 pm Where: Yarra Bend Golf Course Yarra Bend Rd, Fairfield, VIC About: Yarra Bend is Australia s first Crown Lager Social Golf Club Super Centre and is getting ready for a huge summer of social golf. Crown Lager Social Golf Club Ambassador Stuart Appleby will be on hand from 1pm for a demonstration clinic to participants before hitting the ceremonial first tee shot at approximately 2pm. AFL Legends and golf nuts Tony Shaw and Michael Christian will also be in attendance at what is the first Crown Lager Social Golf Club run at Yarra Bend Super Centre. South Australia: Adelaide Shores Crown Lager Social Golf Club Launch Event When: November 29, 2012 from 5 6:30 pm Where: Adelaide Shores Golf Course West Beach, SA About: Adelaide Shores have partnered with Golf Australia and the Crown Lager Social Golf Club as a CLSGC Super Centre. To celebrate, a free launch event will be run on Thursday, November 29, and all casual golfers are invited. Between 5 and 6:30 there is an opportunity for anyone to stop in and get some tips from qualified PGA coaches, use the practice facilities free of charge and sharpen up your golfing skills. Retired Crows hard-man Michael Doughty and upcoming Port Power star Hamish Hartlett will be attending on the night, giving attendees a chance to pit their driving and putting skills against the AFL stars. To celebrate, as part of Golf SA s Golf Month, a Hole In One Competition on the modified 1st Hole at North Adelaide Golf Course will be run this coming Friday, November 30.
