golf WEEK is fast-approaching, and two clubs who are well and truly in the spirit are Eastlake Golf Club in Sydney and Devonport Golf Club in Devonport.
Eastlake Golf Club in Sydney’s eastern suburbs will conduct a variety of activities during the week, starting on Monday 17 November with an On-Course Management session. Tuesday sees a Junior Come & Try Clinic, Thursday a Men’s Beginner Clinic, Friday a Champagne ‘n’ Chipping Clinic, and a Putting Competition, and concluding on Sunday 23 November with a Family Come & Try Chipping and Putting Clinic and Sausage Sizzle. Best of all – they are all free!
In addition, bring three players for a game from 24 November until 5 December, and the fourth person plays for free!
Club Captain of Eastlake Golf Club, Tanya Kirby said, “Playgolf WEEK is a great way to promote the club and we can tap into the National and State Marketing campaigns supporting the week”.
On Tasmania’s north-west coast, Devonport Golf Club is not to be outdone. A Ladies’ Clinic kicks off the week on Monday 17 November, followed by Junior Clinics on Tuesday, a Men’s Clinic on Thursday, and a Ladies’ Short Course Competition on Friday. Devonport’s Come & Try Day on Sunday 23 November sees a Clinic for adults and 3-holes, plus a children’s competition.
Through December and January, any player who participates in one of these events, get free golf!

Playgolf WEEK is a week of golf activities from 17-23 November, including Come & Try Days, Special Offers for Club Services, and Prizes and Competitions. It is all about creating more interest in the game and giving people the opportunity to try golf in a relaxed environment.
