Golf Tasmania will be conducting the NCAS Community Golf Coach One Course across the State during September. The course enables and accredits junior co-ordinators and beginner coaches to coach beginner golfers of any age. Roles of a Community Golf Coach also include co-ordinating camps and clinics, and linking with organisations (both regional and State). The Community Golf Coach One Course offers sessions on teaching fundamentals, group management, sourcing resources, practical assessments and feedback. Community Golf Coaches may also be remunerated to a maximum of $15,000.00 per annum without jeopardising amateur status. Application forms are available by clicking here or by calling (03) 6244 3600.
