Steven Conran&aposs two-under-par final round of 68 was good enough for him to finish in a tie for sixth place at the Crowns Tournament at the Nagoya Golf Club&aposs Wago course. It was a good for the Aussies, with compatriot Brendan Jones finishing a further stroke back in a tie for eighth. Chris Campbell finished 41st, Paul Sheehan 48th, Scott Laycock 56th, while Craig Parry finished a disappointing 58th. Japan&aposs Tomohiro Kondo claimed his fourth Japan Golf Tour title when he defeated Hiroyuki Fujita at the second extra hole of a playoff. Kondo set up the victory with a superb third round of 64, which gave him a share of the lead heading into Sunday&aposs final round. With Fujita nailing a big birdie putt on the 18th, a play-off was needed to separate the two players. After both players made par on the first play-off hole, Kondo holed a lengthy birdie putt to take the title.
