Steven Conran is the best-placed Australian at the halfway mark of the Japan Golf Tour&aposs Token Homemate Cup, three shots behind leader Yuta Ikeda. Ikeda holds sway on four under par after his 71 at the Token Tado Country Club in Nagoya, one shot clear of compatriots Koumei Oda and Kiyoshi Murota, as well as South Korean Sung-Joon Park. Conran followed his first-round 66 with a 75 on Friday, seeing him tied for sixth place on one under the card, where he is locked with Japan&aposs Satoru Hirota and Tatsunori Nukaga. New South Welshman Brad Kennedy is the next best of the Aussies, on two over, while defending champion Brendan Jones – a 12-time winner on the Japan Tour – only just made the cut on four over. Victorian James McLean and Kurt Barnes are also on four over.
