His final round six under par 65 was too much for his opponents to keep pace with as he ran away to a five stroke victory over Victoria&aposs Ben Eccles. The NSW trio of Cameron Davis, Kevin Yuan and Troy Moses round out the top five going into Sunday&aposs Match Play at Concord. Eccles, on 134 after 36-holes, leads by one shot from England s Ryan Evans (Wellingborough GC) and West Australian Curtis Luck (Cottesloe GC) who both had rounds of 68 and 67 for a total 135. Kevin Yuan (The Australian GC) is in fourth position on 138, while New Zealand s Jason Gulasekharam (North Shore GC) and Jack Bush (Mona Vale GC) are a further shot behind on 139. The leading 60 players plus ties will contest the final 36-holes tomorrow at Pennant Hills Golf Club. There is a three-way tie at the top of the leader board after the first 18-holes of the Women’s NSW 72-hole Stroke Play Championship. Queensland s Jamie Dougan (Beaudesert GC), Western Australia s Hayley Bettencourt (Mandurah GC) and Sydney-sider Emma Betland (St. Michael s GC) all had rounds of one-under 73. Eight players are hot on their heels, shooting even par rounds of 74 today. In the NSW Club Champion of Champions there is a two-way tie at the top with Aliza Huff (Pennant Hills GC) and Elizabeth Elmassian (The Australian GC) both having even par rounds of 74.
