Denis Dale of Twin Creeks Golf Club and Ross Bockman of Long Reef Golf Club have taken out the 2013 Men's Senior Order of Merit. It was an exciting finish with Ross having the opportunity during the closing event to take out the title with a top-5 finish, but Ross was only able to secure a 10th position finish to end the SOOM season tied with Denis. Also having a great season was Vince Clark from the Lakes who took out third prize in this year-long event.
Dale had seven victories in the 2013 season including three wins in a row at Coffs Coast Senior Classic, the Men's Cabramatta Seniors and the Senior Seaside Classic at Port Macquarie, while Bockman only had five wins for the season, which displays the consistently high finishes that Bockman has shown throughout the season.
The final event in the 2013 calendar took place at Cromer Golf Club. At the conclusion of play the Order of Merit results were announced and prizewinners were presented with their medals.
