Day 1
Stuart Davidson (Mooroopna) and John Keller (Hill Top) lead the Shepparton Senior Amateur Tournament after day 1. Both players recorded a 3 over par 75, in what was a beautiful weathered day. Davidson and Keller, who are locals to Shepparton, showed some good form both with solid back nines. Davidson had an outstanding back nine of 34, 1 under par. Numerous players are closely behind the leaders, with ten players within five shots of the lead.
In the stableford sector, Robert Dixon (Shepparton)leads with 36 points off a handicap of 11.
The second and final round continues tomorrow with players out at 9:30am.
