The Western Australians defeated South Australia 8-0 on Tuesday before beating Tasmania by the same scoreline today at McLeod Country Golf Club. Whitney Harvey had the best results of the day winning her foursomes 7&6 with Jessica Speechley before winning her singles match 8&7. Queensland kept pace with the leaders following their 6-2 victory over Victoria. Taking a 2-1 lead out of the morning, wins for Ashley Ona, Sheree Hasson and Ali Orchard gave Queensland the contest. A gap of four matches and a contest has opened between Queensland and Victoria in third place following the Victorians loss.
