There was about the same level of chat over the ropes today for Steve Williams and his new player.
That's clearly tongue in cheek, but there was certainly a great buzz today around Jason Day as he embarked on the next era of his major championship career with the world's best caddie.
The Australian, who said his new union with caddie Williams felt "nice", made a birdie up the last hole to start his US Open campaign with a one-under-par round of 70.
Fans on course – and many more on social media – were chatting more about Williams in his first round back on the bag, emerging from what was thought to be retirement after stunningly successful stints with Adam Scott, Tiger Woods, Greg Norman and others.

And while coy after his round, Williams said "it felt good" to be back in the cut and thrust of the US Open.
Asked if it felt like riding a bike, Williams grinned and said: "I still remember how to carry a bag, yes."
Day was naturally – and more formally – asked how the chemistry of the new relationship had begun.
"We worked very, very hard," the Queenslander said.
"So we've been trying to stay on top of it. And I feel like things are only going to get better.
"I'm out there trying to hit the certain shots that he's calling for, and it seems like it's working pretty nice."
Day said he'd made the most of a round that could have turned nasty had his focus wandered.
"This is one of those days you feel that if you weren't disciplined enough, you could be hitting in the same spot I did, but walk off with one, two or three over par.
"But I'm walking off with one under par (and) I think it's a step in the right direction.
"I feel like where my mindset is at and where the chemistry between me and Steve is, that as long as I can focus on that, maybe things can fall my way."
Day made a rare bogey on the straightforward fourth, but hit a laser to a metre on the par-three fifth to kickstart a hat-trick of birdies that were the backbone of his round.
"That was important after that bogey, so I was happy about that."
