Australia's top golfer Jason Day has become a father for the second time.
Day's American wife Ellie gave birth to a daughter, Lucy Adenil, this morning.
The pair have a son, Dash, who is three.
Ellie's pregnancy was the reason that Day, the world No. 2, opted to stay at his American home in Ohio this year rather than returning to play in the Emirates Australian Open at The Australian later this month.
Day has spoken recently about how parenthood has settled him and helped with his golf as he climbed to No. 1 in the world this year and won his first major.
"The stuff I used to get angry or frustrated with before, it has definitely mellowed me out,'' he said.
"I think that is a good thing for me, especially on the golf course.''
