Dew for a victory

Tasmanian Ashlee Dewhurst made a serious statement on Wednesday with her three stroke victory at the Women&aposs Riversdale Cup in Melbourne. It was a sweet victory for Dewhurst who trailed leader Emily Perry from New Zealand by one shot going into the final round today. Perry shot a final 1-over round of 74 and slipped behind Dewhurst who shot a sensational 3-under par 70. National squad member and defending champion Julia Boland couldn&apost repeat last year&aposs win and finished at 4-over for the tournament. Victorian Stacey Keating finished at 5-over, tied with Grace Lennon and New Zealander Zoe-Beth Brake who lead the tournament after the opening two rounds. Ellie Na and Justine Lee finished at 7-over.
