Former Australian Amateur champion Ashlee Dewhurst was in action at the weekend on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour. The Touring Professional tied for thirty seventh place in the TLPGA Fubon Open at the Tong Hwa Golf and Country Club in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Dewhurst didn t have an ideal final day and posted rounds of 76, 74 and 76 for a ten-over-par total of 226. I struck the ball well but couldn’t putt all that great on the final day, said the Royal Hobart Golf Club member. The 24-year-old will now contest two tri-sanctioned European events in China, the Sanya Ladies Open from October 25-27 and Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open from November 1-3. Dewhurst will then head to Pattaya for the Thailand Open and then finally back to Taiwan for the final event of the Ladies Asian Golf Tour year. Dewhurst is currently forty seventh on the Ladies Asian Golf Tour with earnings of $4115.00 from four events.
