Dimi Papadatos is one round away from graduating to the European Tour for 2016 after carding a 2-under par 70 overnight on the Stadium Course at the PGA Catalunya Resort in Spain.
The Central Coast based Professional sits at 8-under par total and in a tie for 18th place after five rounds of the marathon six round final stage Qualifying School.
Papadatos began his 5th round with nine straight pars. Three birdies on the back nine saw his position improve, however his lone bogey of the day on the 18th hole saw him drop back three spots from 15th to 18th position.
Cronulla’s Scott Arnold has a lot of work to do in the final round tonight after carding a disappointing 1-over par 73 to be 2-under par in total for the week. Arnold is still one of 31 players who sit within 5 shots of the top 25 mark however.
Seven under par is the magical number at the moment for the coveted 25 European tour cards on offer. There are 30 players on or under this mark with just one round to play.
