ELECTED DIRECTOR POSITIONS – CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Nominations are now open for the position of Director on the Golf NSW Board.
The current Golf NSW Board Members are Peter Mitchell (Chairman), Meralyn Fage (Deputy Chair), Gemma Dooley (Chair Finance), John Robinson, Les Wallace, Darrell Watts, Grant Harding, Sally Kirkright, Michael Medway.

Director’s Peter Mitchell, Meralyn Fage, Gemma Dooley, John Robinson, Les Wallace, Darrell Watts, and Grant Harding’s term of office will end at the conclusion of the 2018 AGM. With the exception of John Robinson who has reached his maximum term as a director, these directors are all eligible for re-election and election for these positions will be for a term of two (2) years.
Golf NSW will announce the 2018-2019 Directors at the AGM to be held at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club on November 27, 2018.
Under the terms of the Constitution of Golf NSW, the Board of Golf NSW must consist of nine (9) Directors; three male, three female and three of either gender. At least one female and one male Director must reside in the Country and at least one female and one male Director must reside in the Sydney metropolitan area. As such, at least two of the seven Directors to be elected in 2018 has to be a female, with at least one of these two females from the Country area. Similarly, at least two of the seven Directors to be elected in 2018 has to be a male with at least one of these two males from the Country area.
