SEMI FINAL RESULTS Defending champion Sylvia Donohoe (NSW) will shoot for a stunning sixth Australian Women&aposs Senior Amateur title in the championship&aposs match play final in Fremantle on Friday. Donohoe&aposs opponent in the final at Royal Fremantle Golf Club is fellow NSW player Lynne Townsend. On a partly cloudly day, Donohoe eased into the final with a 2&1 win over Queensland&aposs Wendy O&aposConnell while Townsend defeated Queensland&aposs Josie Ryan 4&2. Both Donohoe and Townsend have already tasted victory in the Interstate Stroke Teams Event. In a tight race, with the NSW team of Donohoe, Townsend and Annette Baggie returning an aggregate score of 329, to beat ACT, WA and QLD by ten strokes. The three age flight sections will see Sue Jones battle Kaye Hanson, Lu Proud plays Marion Clothier and Margaret Leary will play Diane Greenhill in the Super Veterans section.
