Unfortunately the last two Australians were knocked out overnight in the British Amateur Championship. In round 3 Brett Drewitt put up a good fight but was defeated on the 20th hole by Kasper Estrup from Denmark. Jordan Zunic won his 3rd round match over Richard James from Aberystwyth 2 & 1, but was then beaten in round 4 by Max Orrin from North Foreland 3 & 1. Both players can be proud of their performances and can draw confidence from their results. Brett and Jordan along with a number of other NSW players including Ruben Sondjaja, Ricky Kato, Jess Lasky, Callen O Reilly, Cathleen Santoso and Carly Beck will travel to the USA and prepare to compete in some of the major amateur events on the USA summer calendar.
