Boys and Girls Championship of Victoria – Round 3 & 4, 25/9/2013
The final round of the 2013 Boys & Girls Championship was played at Yarra Yarra Golf Club today. Clubhouse leaders Frazer Droop and Celina Yuan were hot favourites with convincing leads heading into rounds 3 and 4. Droop held a 10 shot lead over Austin Bautista and NSW Celina Yuan lead a 4 shot lead over fellow NSW representative Jessica Lasky.
Both leaders solid form and dominance continued into the final rounds with Droop shooting 71 and 70 to win the title 14 shots clear of his closest rival. Whilst Yuan posted 77 and 78 to win 11 shots clear of Jessica Lasky. An impressive feat by both players! Congratulations to both on their first Victorian Junior Championship.
Yuan also won the Under 16 Girls Championship, whilst Cameron John took out the Under 16 Boys Championship with a total of 304. In the Under 14 Section, Christian Chierego and Soo Bin Park won their respective titles.

Boys and Girls Championship of Victoria – Round 2, 24/9/2013
Droop continued his great form into the second round of the 2013 Boys & Girls Championship shooting an impressive 67. He now holds a commanding lead of 10 shots over Austin Bautista. In the girls event NSW Celina Yuan shot another solid round of 76 to further stretched out her lead from Jessica Lasky who sits 6 shots back.
Rounds 3 & 4 will commence tomorrow at Yarra Yarra via a 7.30am shotgun start. Following Round 3, players will remain on course where their score cards will be collected by tournament officials and lunch packs provided.

Boys and Girls Championship of Victoria – Round 1, 23/9/2013
Frazer Droop and Celina Yuan lead after the first round of the Victorian Boys and Girls Championships in heavy winds at Northern Golf Club Today.
Droop aced the par three 16th hole with a five iron on his way to a 69 and one shot lead from Zach Murray 70 in the Boys Championship.
Another highlight from the day was Blake Collyer’s eagle on the par 4 2nd hole after driving the green and finishing on the fringe Collyer managed to hole a five metre putt for a 2. Celina Yuan had 70 today in the Girls Championship to take a three shot lead from Jess Lasky who had 73.
Yuan also leads the U16 Girls Championship while Cameron John leads the U16 Boys Championship with a first round 74.
Christian Chierego with a 78 today has a one shot lead in the U14 Boys Championship while Soo bin Park holds a six shot lead in the U14 Girls Championship with her 78 also.
