New South Wales duo Travis Smyth and Harrison Endycott have got off to slow starts at Stage I of the 2018 European PGA Tour School overnight.
Smyth could only manage a three over par 75 and sits in 61st place, while Endycott fared slightly better, posting a two-over round of 74 to sit in 49th place on the Frilford Heath Red course in Oxfordshire, England.
Endycott managed to get of to a good start with three birdies on the front nine, however a horror back that included three bogies and a double bogey on the 17th saw him tumble down the leader board.
Smyth started poorly with a pair of bogies to begin his round. Despite making a good birdie at the 6th hole, The 22 year old from Shellharbour was unable to consolidate, dropping two more shots to par to finish in the middle of the pack.
Western Australian Brady Watt is the remaining Aussie in the field this week, and he currently sits in a tie for 19th position after posting a one under par 71.
