The Clare Golf Club is an 18 hole par 72 course about 135km north of Adelaide in the beautiful Clare Valley set amongst vineyards, woodlands, lakes and creeks. The course provides numerous natural challenges and provides stunning scenery and the chance to see one of the many kangaroos living on the course.
Ben Hook from the Sunday Mail and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell headed out to Clare to review the Par 4, 11th hole which is now firmly in contention to make it into the Country 9 Best holes in SA.
With nothing but water to the right of the fairway, a strong tip off the tee is to hit it straight!
One of the duo takes driver, the other iron. One makes par the other birdie, who has made the correct decision?
A real picturesque hole, worth the visit.
