Edition 14 Best of golf in SA at Edithburgh GC

The Edithburgh Golf Club is a Par 70, nine hole 5,598 metre course on the heel of the Yorke Peninsula. The course is extremely picturesque and features 9 sand greens and 18 alternate tee mounds.

The Sunday Mail’s Ben Hook and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell reviewed two holes at Edithburgh the 7th and 15th

First up was the 133m par 3, 7th hole and with a sign on the tee that says “Don’t get your balls wet” you know what’s coming here.

With a tee block you have to see to believe, the lads can’t stop raving about this hole. Check out the video below.

Next is the 270m par 4, 15th hole. Hitting right alongside the ocean, what a spectacular view.

Ben Hook was blown away by his day out at Edithburgh.

“If you are a South Australian who likes golf, then stick this place on your bucket list. A truly magnificent experience. Daniel and I drove two hours each way just to play this hole and weren't disappointed.” Hook said
