Murray Bridge Golf Club is an 18 hole country course situated in the heart of the Rural City of Murray Bridge located approximately 78kms southeast of Adelaide on the Murray River.
The 18 hole course has picturesque surroundings, with gently undulating fairways fringed with well-established trees and excellent greens. The course is fully irrigated and offers superb playing conditions all year round.
The Sunday Mail’s Ben Hook and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell reviewed three holes at Murray Bridge which is maintained by Course Superintendent Mal Grundy.
17th – 155m Par 3
A really nice little hole, beautifully framed with a lovely green.
5th – 366 Par 4
An excellent hole, really challenging. A massive hazard on the left hand side to be wary of. Men and Women off the same tees.
8th Par 5
The snake style layout off the tee proves difficult for both players. Watch Daniel hit his second from the top of a tree stump! Will he recover and save par? Check out the video >
