Situated midway between Melbourne and Adelaide on National Highway One, the Mount Gambier Golf Club is located just five kilometres from the centre of the city on what was once rolling sandhills.
The course is undulating with many of the holes played from elevated tees and the fairways are lush and tree lined, the greens are large, challenging and very true. The course is extremely well bunkered with conditions excellent all year round.
The Sunday Mail’s Ben Hook and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell reviewed the 8th, 15th and 18th holes down in the Mount.

From an elevated tee check out the great view from this hole! Feels like the ball stays in the air for ages. Make sure you take one club less, it’s a must play.

Check out these two holes and listen to Daniel’s tips, to rehearse your swing and monitor grip pressure when struggling.
