Edition 21 Best of golf in SA at Keith GC

Nestled in the heart of South Australia's South East is the peaceful and picturesque Keith Golf Club. The par 73 course brings long fairways and challenging greens amongst a natural landscape.

The Sunday Mail’s Ben Hook and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell continued their SE review this time checking out holes three to five at Keith GC.

Reviewed: 3rd hole 282m Par 4

This short par four dogleg sharp left and is a genuine birdie chance for all. Easily reached in two or a big drive over the bend, it is however protected by soft fairway in front and a green with steep sides. Once you are there be careful with your putt as the ball rolls deceptively!

Reviewed: 4th hole 134m Par 3

A short par three and another birdie in waiting but make sure you hit straight. Trees on the left and right, along with two bunkers in front protect this hole well. Beware the down slope putt as the white dot can roll a long way.

Reviewed: 5th hole 357m Par 4

One of the toughest holes on the course this long par four bends right and uphill to a green with plenty of bend. An approach for an uphill putt can bring its rewards.
