Edition 22 Best of golf in SA at Lake Albert GC

Lake Albert Golf Club situated in Meningie, 150km from Adelaide, was formed in 1968, with the present 18 hole course commencing in 1981.

Today Lake Albert is one of the best rural golf courses in South Australia with magnificent views overlooking Lake Albert and the 18th Green and Fairway. Many thousands of trees were planted lining the fairways, making Lake Albert a very attractive and interesting course to play.

The Sunday Mail’s Ben Hook and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell have ventured out to Lake Albert GC to check out three holes.

A challenging in Par 5 with a narrow tree-lined fairway, whatever you do DONT GO LEFT OFF THE TEE!

Short par 4, with two options off the tee. Play safe with an iron, or pull out the driver. A lot to like about this hole.
