Edition 25 Best of golf in SA at Naracoorte GC

Naracoorte Golf Club is located close to the town centrein the Limestone Coast region approximately 336 kilometres south-east of Adelaide.

The course is set in parkland with 18 holes on slightly undulating country, set on a rise overlooking the surrounding Naracoorte flatlands. There are four Par 5 holes, four Par 3 holes and the remaining ten holes are Par 4.

The practice of cutting the greens right to the edge of some bunkers-as practised throughout the Melbourne Sandbelt-adds to the challenge of keeping your ball in position for the best approach to the flag.

Naracoorte Golf Club has joined the list of Australia’s TOP – 100 public access golf courses in Australia. The announcement was made on December the 18th in the January 2015 publication of Golf Australia.

Three holes reviewed by Ben Hook from the Sunday Mail and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell.

Blind tee shot hitting over a crest. A good tough hole. Check out the green cut right up to the bunker.

Reviewed: 16th hole 155m Par 3

Great hole, downhill with two bunkers surrounding the green. Get to Naracoorte, plenty more quality holes like this one.
