Edition 29 Best of golf in SA at Berri GC

For a great golf experience in South Australia, you've got to play the golf course at Berri on the Murray River in SA’s Riverland.

A popular tourist destination for golfers touring the Murray River, the Berri Golf Course is a favourite in the Riverland with beautifully presented grass greens and irrigated fairways lined with native trees and flowering shrubs.

Kangaroos and emus can often be found resting in the shade.

An easy walking layout makes for a very enjoyable game with gently undulating hills, swales and bunkers breaking the picturesque landscape.

Ben Hook from the Sunday Mail and Royal Adelaide Teaching Professional Daniel Blackwell review the 7th, 11th and 13th.

Nifty’s tip on this hole is to aim between the dark looking mallee on the left and the pine tree on the right. Beautiful little hole with a right to left dogleg.

Reviewed: 11th hole 322m Par 4

Ben hits the “worst possible shot” off the tee on this hole, waaay too far left! This hole has a nice layout and the greens are in great condition.  Take a look to see what Daniel can do here.

Don’t underclub its further than you think. A real tester this hole.
