David Edwards has been crowned the Royal Melbourne Seniors Classic Champion for the second year running after returning a seven over par score of 79.
Two birdies from Edwards on the back nine were enough to separate him from Michael Doutch to take home the trophy for the second year in a row.
John Hoare, David Edwards and Steven Graham were locked on net 73 at the completion of their rounds to lead the men’s net section.
Net birdies on 13 and 15 for John proved the difference and gave him the win on a countback.
In the women’s event, Jacquelin Morgan scored 28 scratch stableford points to run away with the title.
The women’s stableford prize went to Lei Cai with 26 points.
