Golf Australia High Performance Director Brad James said the tournament represented important international level match play experience for all players. We are extremely fortunate to have Elanora Country Club host this tournament in what will be a showcase of high-level golf, James said. It’s important that our players get experience against international opponents and this is a wonderful opportunity for the boys test their games against the best players in England. Spectators are welcome and entry to the tournament is free. The 2011 Ashes will be held at Elanora Country Club from 8-9 February.
