Golf Tasmania would like to advise all competitors that entries for the 2012 Elvie Whitesides 72-Hole Stroke Play Championship have been released. This year s event is an official Karrie Webb Series and National ranking event and will be conducted at the Royal Hobart Golf Club from November 18-20. It is anticipated that current champion Minjee Lee from Western Australia will defend her title won last year at Launceston Golf Club. Chasing Lee s title will be 23-year-old Tasmanian and local member Ashlee Dewhurst along with the entire Golf Australia National Squad. All competitors are required to have an Australian women’s handicap of 36.4 or better and a $75.00 entry fee applies. This year s championship will also incorporate the Tasmanian Women’s Senior, B and C Grade Championships over 36-holes.
