The Participation Manager will drive and manage a number of development programs to achieve increased golf participation including:
• Manage the National Casual Golfer Program (Crown Lager Social Golf Club) with the key objective of engaging with the non-member casual golfer market which currently represents approximately 250,000 regular golfers.
• Work closely with the Golf Development Director in driving and developing other participation strategies including junior, women and seniors participation. To be considered for this role it would be advantageous to have experience in developing and implementing programs to achieve increased participation; be an innovative and strategic thinker with strong project management and business acumen; exhibit outstanding communication, administration and organisational skills; demonstrate excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills and have a strong understanding of the golf industry in Australia. Given the popularity and profile of the sport of golf, this role is clearly one of the prized sport participation roles in Australia.
