Golf NSW Star Harrison Endycott has accepted an invitation to play in next month’s Japan Open. The Championship will be played at Sayama Golf Club from October 13th to 16th, the week following the Asia- Pacific Golf Championship.
“I’m thrilled to have got the start,” Endycott said. “I like to challenge myself against the best and I know how tough the competition will be."
The championship will be just one of a number of events this summer for the talented 20 year old who has bagged five major tournament wins already this year.
Endycott is back at Avondale Golf Club taking a breather between the Australian team’s victory in the Eisenhower Trophy and the Asia Pacific Amateur which is being held in Korea next week. He’s currently fine-tuning his game with his coach, Mark Paterson.
“I'm putting in the hard work and I’ve got the determination to win.”
The Avondale Member is looking forward to rekindling his association with the Japanese Amateur squad after last week's Eisenhower Trophy.
“I have a lot of time for the Japanese team".
“Gareth Jones and the high performance team do a great job for Japan golf. It's awesome to be apart of that. I just can't wait to tee it up with them again,” Endycott said.
