Entries closing soon for Boys’ and Girls’ Amateur

Entries close in the coming days for the Australian Boys and Girls Amateur Championships. Entries have been received from competitors from all around Australia. The Championships will be played at Alice Springs Golf Club one of the world s best desert courses. The Girls Amateur has never been played in the Territory, while the last time the Boys Championship was played in the Alice it was won by Adam Scott. With both the defending Champions Whitney Hillier and Daniel Nisbet – no longer eligible, there will be two new champions. Australia Trans Tasman Cup Team Members, Cameron Smith and Justine Lee, should go into the Championships as favourites, however their fellow competitors will be pushing them all the way.
