Entries open for Australian Mid Amateur titles

Entries are now open for the Australian Mid Amateur Championships to be played at Lynwood Country Club in North Western Sydney from 12-14 November.

The Championships continue to prove popular for players aged 30 to 54 years, and will again be played over 54-holes stroke play.

The Lynwood Country Club is set on 230 undulating acres. It was designed by Graham Papworth President of the Australian Golf Course Architects Association. The links style 6400 metres, 72 par layout takes advantage of many natural features, including undulations, wetlands and natural rough.

The Championship moves from Victoria for the first time since 2010 and it is hoped that by rotating the event amongst the eastern states of Australia over the coming years, the event will continue to grow.

Whilst some of the very best golfers contest for the National Title on the field, the Championship also features welcome drinks on the Tuesday evening, and Presentation Drinks and Canapés on Friday afternoon.

A maximum GA handicap limit of 4.4 for men and 17.0 for women applies, with the entry fee of $150 including three rounds of Championship golf, one practice round, Presentation Drinks and Canapés, range balls and pull buggies, and a Championship Gift and Tournament Program.
