Entries are open for the 2016 Emirates Australian Open, to be played from November 17-20 at The Royal Sydney Golf Club.
There will be 148 players exempt into the championship proper, with non-exempt players required to contest qualifying on Monday, November 14 at Liverpool, Carnarvon or Ryde-Parramatta golf clubs.
Eight players will advance to the championship field from those qualifying competitions, at which there are regularly more than 200 players in total.
The GA handicap limit for amateur golfers is 2.0. Amateur golfers must enter via Golf Australia.
Australian PGA members and all other non-Australian PGA members must enter via the PGA Australia, while One Asia members must enter through OneAsia.
Entries close on Thursday, October 27 at 5.00 pm (AEDT).
